We're Almost There *Update*

Well it seems that I made it through this week with the DOD and everyone is still smiling. So far I've managed to wash and comb out 3 heads of hair and style 1 head. And I've packed all of our suitcases with room to spare. I've even managed to use 90% of the food that was in the refrigerator. Altho it's hard not to just want to run and buy some sh*t because I ain't trying to be creative under duress. (i.e. four DOD demanding things from me while I'm trying to cook creatively).

We've yet to "officially" have a place in Missouri but I think it's close. The hubby has been working diligently on trying to make sure we have some place other than a hotel to sleep once we all arrive in St. Louis. And honey let me tell you, it has not been easy for all parties involved.

Now as we enter week 2, the DOD are starting to miss Daddy. And me too! Not to mention we missed our wedding anniversary which was March 20th. I mean not that we celebrated anyway because we usually get mixed up on which day around the 20's it actually is. It just that we we're apart. And now for Easter Sunday as well.

So we have 2 days left and then the REAL journey begins. Hopefully by this time next week the entire Richardson clan will be in St. Louis. Will we have beds to sleep on and chairs to sit? Ummmm . . . . stay tuned.

Tuesday, March 25th

Looks like the clan will officially be in the midwest on the 31st. The deal has been done and tickets have been purchased. No news on when we'll have the content of our home. By Friday I won't have phone or internet access either. Well I'll have my cell but don't nobody call me on that anyway.

My last Washington days. Can't say I'm sad because I'm leaving, cuz I ain't. LOL.
